Yay for the first post on here in 44 weeks!!!! Since Matt has been posting more and I had a great weekend I thought I would post a little something on here.
This weekend: My friends from down the hall had their sister(Nicole) and her fiance(Jacob) come over here for "Sibs and kids" weekend. Friday night we ate at Red Robin and then saw the movie Taken, which is really bad ass. On Saturday we went to the mall and shopped for a couple of hours then went to B Dub's to eat. Jacob convinced us to go there and watch UFC 94. I have never seen any restaurant so packed in my life, we had to wait an hour and a half for a table; plus they locked the doors because they were at capacity. Needless to say the fights were really awesome and I ate 20 wings and was so full. The only downer was that the Cardinals lost the Super Bowl :(
Life is general is going great for me right now. Me, Carl(my roommate), our friends down the hall(Tyler and Zach), and Tyler's girlfriend Lauryn are getting an apartment next year. So if anyone wants to come down on a weekend and party we can legally do it, except the underage factor;). Classes are so much better this semester than last its almost impossible to describe. We are also on an intramural basketball team and have 2 wins and looking to add 2 more tomorrow night.
Also as a side note there might be a special girl I have my eye on :D
RISE AGAINST AND MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE ARE PLAYING AT THE JOE ON FEBRUARY 28TH AND WE MIGHT BE FUCKING GOING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
How a great day turned into a horrible one...

Matt's New Years Party
Meeting Chris' dad!
Okay, now to recent stuff. I am having a birthday party this Saturday, 1:30, at my house. 15028 Philomene, between Colwell and Fox. Food will be cake, ice cream, sloppy joes, chicken wings, and chips. Matt, Rob, Chris, Harwood, and John should all be spending the night, but more may be able to be added. Come if you want to, don't feel obligated to buy me gifts either. Just leave a message here, IM me, call me, whatever, just let me know if you are coming.
The Rise Against/Thursday concert was the best night ever!!! Two other bands played before them, one of them sucked and the other was decent. Then Thursday played and they were good. After they changed the stage set-up the main event was about to start. Rise Against came out and they were amazing. The sounded 1103958 times better live than they do on CD. I got as close as 4th row to the stage at one point. I did some moshing, Crowd surfed, and just plain rocked out the whole 90 mins or however long it was. I felt so free during the concert I sang to all the songs. While a few bad things happened I would do it all over again in a heartbeat!! I big shout out to Matt for once again ordering the tickets and supplying a ride there, and Rob's dad for a ride home.
We are checking to see if they come back to Detroit or around here in the spring. Also 89X Birthday Bash for a long term concert idea!!
I just realized something today and It makes me really mad/sad/disappointed with myself. I don't like the change that has happened in the past 2 years.
So it has been a long time since my last update. Cross has flown by really fast this year, it's hard to believe that we only have 2 more practices and one more meet to go and it's all over. I am going to have to make a tough descicion about doing cross or soccer next year. I am mostly putting it into consideration due to the fact that my cross years have not been what I was capable of. Injuries all three years now have also dampened my spirit, and to be honest, when I was running I was thinking about running much, more of other things...Plus I haven't played outdoor soccer since 7th grade and might want to take it easy next year. I won't decide this until the ned of the school year though. Another choice of mine is wether to do track or not. Right now I am about 75 percent sure I am doing it, but staying with my longest event at 1 mile. Running 3 and a half miles every meet in middle school track had an influence on me...It really hurts me to let the cross team down with all of the bad times that I have run. But today I noticed that somethings come easier with experience and we could use that next year for the team. On other notes school it just kinda there right now, with cross over my grades should improve, or I hope so. Especially pre-calc =\
Its pretty sweet that I barely get over my last cold and I start to get another one. I guess that's what I get for doing cross. For some reason my shoulders are really sore and my hip is starting to hurt a lot more after todays speed work. I so should be Varsity for Cross. I don't really even care about my times for the rest fo this year, I might be doing soccer next year. This week I have been really tired all week. I'm looking forward to chilling with people for a whole weekend, 4 more weekends =\.
Homecoming this year was a lot of fun. My day on Saturday started off by we waking up and hanging for 30 mins until I decided that I was going to have to run in the rain no matter what. The rain wasn't too bad, ran 5 miles, got back at around 1 or so. Took off my wet clothes and played some CS and RS until it was time to get ready. Took a shower, put on my suit and whatever else. My mom then took 2 pictures and we were off to Carly's. We were all supposed to be there at 3:45, I ended up being the first one there. Waited for a few mins as people started to file in. The full group of us was me, Chris, Alex, Tyler, Sara, Carly, Jenny, Alaina, Sam, and Lesley. Took pictures for what seemed like forever. Sara paired off Alaina and I...Finally made our way to Guilios. This restaurant was very nice. We all finished eating and paid by 7. Arrived at the dance sometime around 7:30ish. Hung around there for a bit and chilled. Danced a few slow songs and a little to 9 Chris and I headed over to the dance floor and tore it up for the rest of the time. I danced with Lesley once and Alaina a few times, it was really nice. After the dance ended we piled 7 people into Sara's truck =). Carly was on Chris' lap and Alaina was on mine. We thought we saw a cop go back to Sara's house, but it wasn't a cop. The girls changed and Tyler waited while Chris and I walked to the gas station for drinks. While we were there we saw Mike Duzzy, Kevin, and Jackie V. Walk back and we head off to Tyler's house for a fire. chris and I were practically the only ones talking. Sara drove Chris and I home and that ends homecoming 2006!
I hate being sick. Waking up with sinus headaches and coughing isn't fun. I hope I get better quick.
